when playing pop music - the amount of repetition can be dramatically reduced, if you utilise numbers colours and patterns such as www.decplaypiano.com - repeating small phrases until they are memorised and then identifying similar or identical phrases, can break down a song into very easy to learn sections which are far quicker to learn.
